Oh god I am old!
I have just seen an ad on the telly that made me feel really old.
Michael Jackson’s Thriller is 25 years old.
I remember when the video for Thriller was first shown on telly. It had been shown on the Friday night - not sure what program, but I know I wasn’t allowed to watch it. But the very next night I went to a 16th birthday party, at the lad’s house, and because he was posh, they had a video, and e had videoed Thriller.
So, at some point in the night, the music went off, the telly went on, and the whole party gathered around to watch it.
Oh happy days.
But blimey - I really can’t believe it’s 25 years ago - seems like just a couple of years ago.
