Wha Hay!

SE is coming to visit tomorrow.

Even better is that I will also see two of my other favourite men this weekend - Andy and TBFKAPob!

Se is doing my head in before he’s even got here though. I sent him an email 2 weeks aog, with a link to thetrainline website, telling him what he need to put in, and how to get the cheapest train fare. I also told him to book it soon, because the price would go up. I found a single fair for less than £15 - not bad I thought.

I spoke to him on Saturday - and he complained that it was over £70 for his train ticket. “Please tell me you’ve booked your ticket….” “No, not yet.” “What part of ‘you need to book it soon before the price goes up’ did you not understand?” “Well, I din’t think it would go up by that much.” “If it wasn’t much difference, then I’d not have mentioned it……”

Apparently his whole trip has cost him way more than it should have done, because he left the booking of everything to the last minute. I have no sympathy for him.

Also, when I asked him what he wanted to do, he had no clue. “I want to see what it would be like to live in London.” “Okay, leave it to me, I’ll see what I can find to do.” I know he hates museums. He hates shopping. Ten minutes later I get another email, “Okay, spoken to some British friends and I have a list of things to do - Buckingham Palace, London Dungeons, Harrods, Tower of London, London Eye….” I have managed to convince him that the only thing he will enjoy is the London Eye. He may like the Dungeons, and he might be okay with the Tower of London - but why in God’s name did he even contemplate Harrods?
