Not well
Been off work for the last couple of days - full of cold. I guess it’s a consequence of hanging around the city centre early Sunday mornings, in the drizzle.
I am off to see LELI this weekend - I am very excited. I’ve not been to Italy before, plus getting to spend more time with the little Italian Stallion. Only going for 2 days - much as I love him I don’t think I could spend much longer in only his company.
I sacked my cleaners last week! They haven’t been brilliant since the start - they did some ironing the first two weeks, then the iron blew up. I bought a new iron, and they used it once. When I went on holiday to Portugal, I had only been in the house for 1 day so it wasn’t exactly dirty, they didn’t have a whole lot to clean, and to be honest I couldn’t even tell they’d been. Then last week, again I had been away for 4 days, so there wasn’t that much to clean, but when I got home on Friday all I could tell they had done was ironed 4 tops (I had left a request that they actually do some ironing) and thrown some bleach down the loos. They hadn’t even cleaned the toilets, just put bleach down them, not vacuumed, not even wiped down the kitchen surfaces. So I rang the agency and ranted.
New cleaners have been today (I went and sat in Sainsbury’s cafe while they were here, didn’t want to be stood over them), and when I got home I could tell the difference instantly. Happy days!
